Outstanding Painting LLC recently completed this apartment painting and wallpaper installation project in Bayside, Queens, NY. The goal was to create a clean, modern interior while combining professionally painted walls with a detailed decorative wallpaper installation.
For this project, our team prepared and painted the interior walls and installed a custom nature-inspired wallpaper mural. Proper surface preparation was especially important because wallpaper requires a smooth, clean, and properly prepared surface for the best appearance and long-term adhesion.
The finished room combines soft green painted walls with a detailed botanical wallpaper featuring trees, mountains, and wildlife. The wallpaper creates a feature wall while the coordinating wall color helps bring the entire room together.

A quality interior painting project starts before the first coat of paint is applied. Our process includes protecting floors and surrounding areas, repairing minor wall imperfections, sanding where necessary, caulking gaps, priming appropriate surfaces, and applying the finish coats for an even and professional appearance.

Wallpaper can completely change the appearance of a room, but proper installation is important—especially with large murals and patterns where individual panels need to line up correctly.
